Gavriel Eventov, Senior Aerospace Systems Engineer

Platform-agnostic EW and C4I mission systems integration for air, land, and sea.

Proven across the F-35 enterprise since 2016, developing and integrating mission systems for U.S. and allied interoperability.

Focus

I'm a systems engineer for mission systems: electronic warfare, command and control, communications, and data. I work across the full lifecycle, from requirements definition and architecture design through integration, validation, sustainment, and multinational coordination, so that systems built by different organizations work as one. Since 2016 that has meant U.S. and allied interoperability across the F-35 enterprise, with methods that carry across multi-domain systems, in the air, on land, or at sea.

Across the lifecycle

  • Requirements and architectureTurning operational needs from many stakeholders into one coherent system design
  • Verification, validation, and certificationTesting where systems actually operate, EMI testing, and airworthiness to MIL-STD-461
  • Software, data, and AI/MLPython, MATLAB, C++, and TensorFlow for diagnostics, data analysis, and tooling

Electronic warfare

  • EW mission systems integrationBringing sensing and countermeasure capability onto platforms and keeping it aligned across partner configurations
  • Mission data development and validationThe threat libraries and behavior models that tell onboard sensors what they are seeing
  • Training and simulation fidelityKeeping simulators consistent with the systems actually fielded

Command, communications, and data (C4I)

  • Architecture and secure communicationsSecure communication pathways, cryptographic infrastructure, and links to command and control networks
  • Datalink interoperabilityReal-time Link 16 connections between airborne, ground, and partner systems
  • Multi-organization integrationAligning program offices, prime contractors, and partner nations on one baseline

Experience

Since 2016 across the F-35 enterprise, alongside the Joint Program Office, the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps, Lockheed Martin, and partner nations.

Integrating across organizations

Aligning requirements between government program offices, a prime contractor, and partner nations, then holding them to one baseline.

Led a multinational initiative that advanced an EW pod capability through a parallel-track development strategy, accelerating delivery by approximately 10 years compared with the standard sequential schedule.

Validating where systems operate

Moving verification out of the lab and onto the platforms that use it, so fixes are proven in real conditions.

Developed a distributed flight test validation method that shifted integration and fix verification from U.S. laboratories to operational aircraft under travel restrictions. It remains in use across the F-35 enterprise.

Connecting command, communications, and data

Designing how sensors, aircraft, and ground networks share information securely.

Led C4I integration covering secure communications, cryptographic infrastructure, Offboard Mission Support, and Link 16 interoperability with command and control networks, deployed across operational squadrons.

Certifying and sustaining readiness

Keeping complex systems certified, healthy, and ready, and making the people who maintain them faster.

Led the organization responsible for EW readiness, EMI certification, and fault resolution, and built training and qualification standards that reduced average fault resolution time across the fleet.

Delivering at scale, under pressure

Integration that holds up in large, multinational, around-the-clock operations.

Led mission systems integration for Blue Flag, Falcon Strike, and Red Flag exercises, including 150+ technicians on 24/7 operations at Nellis AFB alongside U.S. and partner forces.

Closing the loop with tools and data

Building the software that turns operational data into engineering decisions.

Built a digital debriefing tool adopted across all operational and maintenance squadrons; its findings fed mission data reprogramming and training updates.
